In 2017 El Ingenio Teatro organized the first International Theatre Festival dedicated to
women, under the direction of Lilliam Vega.
Cancellation note
The organizing committee of the first International Theatre Festival dedicated to women and its
president, Lilliam Vega, regret that due to visa problems the teachers Eugenio Barba and Julia
Varley cannot be with us on Saturday as planned, leaving the programme for
this weekend as follows:
Saturday 25 (cancelled). Sunday 26: 4:00 pm, screening of the
documentary “The country where the trees fly”, by Jacopo Quadri and Davide Barletti, on the 50
years of Odin Teatret, with words by Skype from maestro Eugenio Barba; intermission with cocktail.
5:30 pm, Nordisk Teater Laboratorium (Odin Teatret), “Memory Seeds”, direction by Julia Varley
with Anna Woolf. 6:30 pm, homage to the teachers Flora Lauten and Julia Varley (words by Skype)
by the University of Miami and presentation of Apogee magazine by its director, Baltasar
Martín.
