Festival 2021

From March 6 to 14 of this year, theatre lovers have an appointment to enjoy together the V International Cassandra Theatre Festival, dedicated to women, organized by El Ingenio Teatro and presided by the actress and director Lilliam Vega.

This time through the ZOOM platform, and in person at Centro Mater Foundation and Centro Mater Foundation. Artefactus Black Box, in the City of Miami, our home.

The purpose of this festival is to create a space for exchange between women who make theatre in different countries, languages and cultures. Through staging, dramatized readings, master classes, concerts, documentary screenings, encouraging the creative process based on the imagination of the participating actors, musicians, writers and artists.

The guests of honor will be Roberta Carriere actress of recognized trajectory in the prestigious Company Odin Teatrety Dr. Raquel Carrió Professor of Dramaturgy and Methodology of theatrical research and adviser of dramaturgy of the Buendía Theatre since its foundation.

Countries such as Germany, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Cuba, Dominican Republic and USA will be participating in this occasion.

El Ingenio Teatro in an extraordinary effort will offer free of charge all the events of the festival that will be broadcasted via Zoom. Thus, lovers of good art in Miami, and in any latitude, will be able to enjoy for ten days of an unforgettable and necessary artistic exchange.
