She began her career as an actress in New York City, where she graduated from the School of the Arts. In the city of skyscrapers, Marta participated in more than a dozen projects such as Blood Wedding, Tartuffe or The Neighbors among others; some of them for the New York Shakespeare Festival as the classics of the English writer Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth, among others. Although Marta began her career in New York, her artistic career is intrinsically linked to the city of Miami where she is recognized as one of the longest-running actresses in the city with more than 35 productions to her credit, including titles such as Orinoco, La Señorita de Tacna and Ana en el Trópico. Beyond the boards Marta has developed her acting skills in all media, participating in successful projects cinematográficos like El Guardaespaldas, el Substituto or Sangre y Vino, as well as in TV series like Marielena, Morelia, Qué pasa USA, Todo queda en familia, Miami Vice and Qué casa mi casa. His skills have also been played in variety shows on both radio and television, as well as in dubbing and advertising. A streetcar named Deseo is her second appearance with el Ingenio Teatro after Blood Wedding.
